achewood -- Currently my favorite comic. It's a bunch of stuffed animals and housepets getting wasted and rapping. The subjects may sound sophomoric, but I think the humor here is among the highest I've witnessed.
Penny Arcade -- A great gaming comic with gorgeous art and brilliant one-liners. It always helps if you read the News Post that goes along with the comic. Plus, there's never a story line to follow, so you can jump right in.
ScaryGoRound -- By the author of Bobbins, John Allison, this comic is always good for a laugh and you can feel comfortable telling your grandma about this one -- unless she is afraid of zombies.
Ars Technica -- Originally a technology news and review site, ars has become a goldmine of information for the tech-minded. The site is active with news, with more analysis than most other sites.
MozillaZine -- The best news site there is for Gecko-based technology. Gecko's the rendering engine in Mozilla and many other browsers. It's Standards-licious!
Blizzle -- Proof that if you keep working hard, people will eventually notice. Az has put together a pretty swell site with all sorts of shell news (though I think he has a bias for SharpE) and whatever else he or anyone who submits thinks is relavent. User-posting of news has taken off and now the site updates quite often. This is usually the first site I check when I sit down at my computer.
spc.noodge.org -- A forum hosted here. Originally conceived by Josh and created by the genius of phpBB and my ability to to run the install scripts that came with it. Mostly we talk about how crappy society is and how we'd like to change it around a bit, but anything goes really. There's even a section on drugs! It has been really dead lately with everyone getting busy with work and school and junk. I'm thinking about taking it down and retooling it.
