August 2006 - Present: Sales Support Team Leader, JC Penney, Seattle, WA

Lead evening support team in sales floor recovery.  Duties include assisting in recovery, associate development, delegating tasks and areas of responsibility, refilling merchandise, and setting new merchandise to corporate guidelines.

August 2005 - August 2006: Inventory Maintenance Associate, JC Penney, Aberdeen, WA

Verified inventory through various methods, including hand stock counts, managing inventory service contractors, and sales ticketing corrections.  Duties included verifying and correcting merchandise ticketing, performing hand counts of merchandise, counting and packaging merchandise for vendor buyback or disposal, as well as the pricing team associate duties listed below.

August 2004 - August 2005: Pricing/Replenishment Supervisor, JC Penney, Aberdeen, WA

Led team that restocked merchandise to the sales floor according to guidelines and sell planners with the correct sign and price.  Duties included supervising a team of six employees in various positions, merchandise logistics, making schedules, verifying and reviewing corporate reports and circulars, performing stock counts, ensuring communication within the team to complete restocking of new merchandise, and some store opening procedures.

July 2004 - August 2004: Pricing Team Associate, JC Penney, Aberdeen, WA

Ensured merchandise was properly priced throughout store at all times.  Duties included placing and removing signs according to corporate reports, changing merchandise ticketing when required, and answering customer and associate questions regarding price issues.

Sept 2003 - July 2004: Retail Associate, JC Penney, Aberdeen, WA

Provided customer service and facilitated financial transactions, primarily in the men's clothing department. Duties included providing friendly sales & customer service, operating a POS terminal, cash handling, placing customer orders through POS and telephone, data entry of financial data, ensuring a safe and visually appealing sales floor.

April 2001 - July 2003: Customer Service Representative, Sears Credit, Boise, ID

Assisted customers with questions and concerns regarding their Sears credit product.Duties included providing friendly, efficient customer service; operating a PC and networked telephone; explaining credit laws, concepts and policies to people experienced and new to using credit; positioning products and services to improve customer experience; working with software engineers to improve credit software, providing bug reports, suggesting and evaluating new features.

June 2000 - August 2000: Software tester, Data Dimensions, Boise, ID

Tested various peripherals, primarily printers, with several operating systems to ensure quality driver/installer releases.  Duties included setting up testing stations, installing OS and testing software, verifying results matched expected behavior in testing matrix, ad hoc testing, creating manual for setting up testing stations to ensure standard results.

June 2000 - August 2000: Pizza Delivery Driver, Round Table Pizza, Boise, ID

Prepared and delivered pizza and related food items, with fast and friendly service.Duties included food preparation, delivery driving, cash handling, restaurant cleaning and maintenance, taking telephone orders, some vehicle maintenance.

June 1996 - August 1998: Restaurant Employee, Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers, Boise, ID

Prepared and served various fast food items, with fast, friendly customer service.  Duties included food preparation, order taking, cash handling, restaurant opening and closing, and basic training of new employees.

Electrical Engineering Major. Subjects include: Calculus, Differential Equations, Physics, Chemistry, General Engineering, System Analysis and Design, Computer Programming in C++ and Java, Logic.

High School Graduate. GPA: 4.0. Advanced Placement courses included United States History, Chemistry, English Literature, Calculus, Computer Programming, Physics, and Spanish.
